The TreyBcakes Story
TreyBcakes derives its name from the founder and owner, Trey J. Luzzi. The concept for a gourmet bakery and eatery came from Mr. Luzzi's mother, Kathy Luzzi, while the family was attending his nephew’s soccer game. While discussing what Mr. Luzzi should do after resigning from the State of California after 14 years, his mother looked over at him, put her hand on his forearm and said, 'You know what Town Center needs? A high-end bakery. You've always wanted a restaurant since you were a kid'. With that, Trey got a tingle in his stomach, a feeling he had not had in many years. His reply was simple, 'That's it'. He turned his head over his shoulder, waived his father, Fred Luzzi, over and said, 'Dad, I'm opening a high-end bakery'. Mr. Luzzi's cousin Rosanne Bomberry looked over and said, 'You know what you need to call it don't you? TreyBcakes'. That day, TreyBcakes Gourmet Bakery and Eatery was born. Days later the process started with finding a location and weeks later the design process began. Because this is a family effort, Trey's family was very involved with the creation of the menu, architecture and overall presence of the restaurant.
